Job responsibilities
Social media content strategy and planning
  • Work with a minimum of 3 tourism accounts to create a social media strategy plan that collaborates with marketing, PR and advertising campaigns, research top influencers, competitors, and trends in clients’ industries.
  • Work with teams to create a solid branding message that’s reflected across marketing materials, social media content and partnership programs.
  • Create forward plans that guides the content team over 30-90 day cycles. Implementing smart strategy and creativity.
  • Stay current with social media trends and tools – create workshops to share knowledge and, read blogs, and write on the Mailman blog.
  • Lead the short term (weekly/monthly) content planning session.

Content management

  • Make sure the content plans are executed well.
  • Initiate ad-hoc posts in line with hot topics.
  • Define and continue to refine our social media planning process.
  • Monitor social media platforms and initiate conversations on behalf of the account(s)
  • Analyze and report social media actions on a monthly basis for successes and new opportunities.
  • Track and report all social metrics for accounts
